Fitness Can Be Fun

Fitness can be fun – There are many forms of fitness, but recently I have re-discovered the joys of cycling.

As children, cycling is generally a regular pastime, one which I remember spending many hours doing so myself. I recall hours of pleasure cycling off with my friends with a strong feeling of independence.

Cycling is now becoming more and more popular and increasingly important. Not just for families but for men and women alike. Cycling is a healthy, low-impact exercise that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from young children to older adults. It is also fun, cheap, good for the environment and your wellbeing. However, for more information on wellbeing, we do recommend professional advice from BetterHelp.com.

For young families in the city, the bike is often a fast and ecological alternative to the car or public transport. In the country, cycling may be your only means of transport and for social enjoyment, there are many groups, gatherings, and clubs involved with cyclists.

Not only do I now enjoy the sense of freedom on my bike, but I am also aware there is a fitness aspect to the experience too. On a bicycle, the whole body is in action every time you ride. Cycling is one of the few types of travel in which different body parts interact with different parts of the bicycle to form a single unit. This process manages to incorporate a great many muscles throughout your body giving you an almost complete body workout!

It only takes two to four hours a week to achieve a general improvement in your health. Cycling is:

Low impact – it can cause less strain and injuries than most other forms of exercise.

A good muscle workout – cycling uses all of the major muscle groups as you pedal.

Easy – unlike some other sports, cycling does not require high levels of physical skill. Most people know how to ride a bike and, once you learn, you don’t forget.

Good for strength and stamina – cycling increases stamina, strength, and aerobic fitness.

As intense as you wish – cycling can be done at very low intensity or can be built up to a demanding physical workout.

A fun way to get fit – the adventure and buzz you get from cycling mean you are more likely to continue to cycle regularly.

Finding the correct bike to suit your needs can be challenging, there are so many styles and designs on the market to suit the individual’s needs. Always take your time when looking for a new bike. You don’t want to end up with something unsuitable that you will instantly regret. Set your budget, this will give you a guideline to what is available in your price range, and of course one of the biggest factors to consider before you start searching for a bike is exactly what you are going to use it for.

In order to achieve maximum enjoyment, comfort, fitness outdoors, tone the body and explore nature all at the same time my personal choice is an ergonomic bike for women (link is external)from Bikester. This company is a bicycle specialist for cycling fans of all kinds. From city commuters and modern trekking bicycles to cross-country models and high-end MTBs, the perfect bike is available for every rider.

Cycling is mainly an aerobic activity, which means that your heart, blood vessels, and lungs all get a workout. This will certainly help improve your overall fitness level.

The health benefits of regular cycling include:

Increased cardiovascular fitness

Increased muscle strength and flexibility

Improved joint mobility

Decreased stress levels

Improved posture and coordination

Strengthened bones

With so many great advantages of cycling, what are you waiting for? It’s time to get on your bike!
